Si is a french musician based in London whose work is based on the saxophone as a raw material for ambient soundscapes. His playing channels multi-phonics and fast arpeggios through live electronics, stretching the instrument into a machine of layered echoes and resonant hums. The result is an immersive experience, where waves of processed saxophone swell into vast, enveloping pads, punctuated by distant, spectral cries.
Growing up in rural Normandy in France, si’s sound is defined by the peaceful and melancholic landscapes of his native countryside, merging with the inspiration from the post-industrial culture of the city.

Coming from a performance studies background at Central Saint Martins in London, Si’s practice emerges from the performance world, notably alongside performance Artist Charlie Jimenez, playing for films and events like Love infinity for Tim Yip, Boundary Condition, Mythopoetics, Under the Roof. Si’s music is centred around curated live performances, notably many churches in London.
